The Bargain Boy (thebargainboy.com) is an Amazon deals site. We list a small set of products whose current Amazon price looks meaningfully below that product's recent price history. This page says what we collect when you use the site, and what we do not.

Affiliate relationship

Deal links on this site go to Amazon with our Associates tag. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. That is how the site stays online. It does not change which deals we post.

No accounts here

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment details on this site. If you buy, you buy on Amazon, under Amazon's own terms and privacy policy.

Click and redirect logs

Tapping a deal sends you through a short /go redirect, then to Amazon. We may log that hop so we can see which deals people open. A log can include:

• the deal id
• the time of the click
• the referring page, if your browser sent one
• a short user-agent string from your browser

Those logs stay in our own records for running the site: which deals were opened, debugging, and abuse prevention. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not claim the logs are anonymous. A referring page or user-agent can sometimes identify someone if it is combined with other data.

Cookies and third parties

We do not set our own tracking cookies on these pages. The host that serves the site may keep ordinary request logs, such as an IP address and user-agent, to keep the pages online. We do not add a separate analytics script to this site.

Deal links send you to Amazon. Amazon and other third parties may set cookies or collect data once you leave, under their own policies. We do not control those cookies, and we do not see what you do on Amazon.
